Bells for the Sound of Joy
|
 |
They have hung for four months on their wooden frame structures on the 53rd
St. sidewalk in Manhattan as part of the NY Crafts Museum major exhibition of
her work, in the sculptural garden of LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton, NY,
and in the backyard of the Takaezu studio in Quakertown, NJ. At the mallet's
punch, their sounds vibrate deep and rich, while their delicate surface molds
and their hanging loops give visual beauty to the strength of their architectural
presence.
